The week 7 learning path of the year 4 module also encouraged us to think about how to plan effective lessons. While this was referring specifically to the integration of ICTs into our lessons, I felt it was first important to reflect on the essentials of effective lesson planning before focusing on the integration of ICTs into a lesson. This lead me to the article ‘Strategies for Effective Lesson Planning’ which allowed me to reflect and review on the essential and most basic components of effective lesson planning.
