Constructing (learning concepts):

Identify the audience of imaginative, informative and persuasive texts (ACELY1668)

Transforming (applying learned concept):

Create short imaginative, informative and persuasive texts using growing knowledge of text structures and language features for familiar and some less familiar audiences, selecting print and multimodal elements appropriate to the audience and purpose (ACELY1671)

I was considering the idea of designing my unit plan for assignment 2 around the idea of having students successfully create a multimodal informative and persuasive text/presentation regarding a specified topic. This way students will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of how an informative and persuasive text should be structured (growing knowledge of text structures and language features). ICT will be evident by having the students create a multimodal presentation for the successful completion of this task.
