How is good ICT and Pedagogy Used?

Pondering the question ‘What is good ICT and pedagogy?’ then led me to consider ‘How is good ICT and Pedagogy Used?’ This article made the powerful statement that simply introducing the technology is not enough to change the teaching and learning process. Specifically, good ICT and pedagogy is achieved when teachers utilise ICTs to reinforce an educator’s existing pedagogical practices and when it is used to effectively change the way a teacher interacts with their students. The same article also made note that effective ICT and pedagogy is evident when the teacher has utilised ICT to challenge their students to think and question their own understanding, instead of just exposing them to additional information.
